Medical Office Assistant(MOA)가 하는 일

A medical office assistant is responsible for performing office duties and ensuring a medical clinic runs smoothly. These duties include transcribing patient records and letters, keeping accounts, billing patients, filing claims with insurance companies and scheduling appointments.

The medical office assistant greets patients when they enter the clinic and takes their information, including contact details, medical history and insurance information.

MOA는 병원이 잘 운영되게 하는 모든 사무관련 일을 진행합니다. 환자의 진료기록 정리와 진료예약 관리, 각종 의료비 청구 및 보험사에 보험료 청구 등이 포함됩니다. 또한, 환자를 응대하는 것 그리고 병원내의 모든 정보를 입력하고 관리하는 일도 MOA의 역할입니다.

Rehabilitation(Rehab.) Assistant

Rehab. Assistant가 하는 일

A rehab assistant, or rehabilitation assistant, helps a physical or occupational therapist provide therapy to patients. The job of an occupational therapy assistant is to implement the plan laid out by the physical therapist. Their duties can include teaching patients how to use equipment, leading exercises, giving self-care instructions, and monitoring progress.

Rehab Assistant는 물리치료사 또는 작업치료사가 세운 계획에 맞춰 실제 환자들의 운동작업을 진행함으로써 치료사를 지원합니다. 역할로는 환자들에게 기구 사용법 교육, 환자의 운동활동 리드, 스스로 운동하는 방법에 대한 안내 뿐 아니라 환자의 운동활동을 기록 등을 통해 환자의 회복과정을 모니터하는 역할을 합니다.

Rehab. Assistant 교육과정 Overview

교육기간: 21개월 – 2년 Full-time diploma 과정
Occupational therapy Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant Accreditation 자격증 취득
입학 조건: 고등학교 졸업 Diploma, 영어 (공통), 수학 or 과학 성적 (학교별 상이)
– 고등학교 졸업 Diploma or higher
– 12학년 영어 B에 해당하는 성적 – TOEFL 90, IELTS overall 6.5, 또는 자체 영어 시험(학교별로 자체 Test 조건 또는 별도 Course에서 영어수업 Credit 취득 가능)
– 수학 또는 과학 성적 (예시) CDI – 자체 Math test, VCC – Biology 12 C+이상)
